Each semester Harvard’s Institute of Politics brings in a new class of diverse, accomplished practitioners from politics and public service to interact and engage with Harvard University students and the Cambridge community. Resident Fellows live on campus for the semester and hold weekly “study groups” where attendees are given the opportunity to learn from and discuss current topics with Fellows and Fellows’ guests.
2013 Spring Resident Fellows are:
Charlie Cook, a political analyst for The National Journal and the editor and publisher of the Cook Political Report.
Ambassador Karen Hughes, Worldwide Vice Chair of Burson-Marsteller, a leading global public relations and communications firm.
Steve Kerrigan, CEO of the 2012 Democratic National Convention Committee and President and CEO of the Presidential Inaugural Committee in 2013.
John Murray, former Deputy Chief of Staff to US House of Representatives Majority Leader Eric Cantor and Founder and President of the YG Action Fund Super PAC and the YG Network.
Governor “Bev” Perdue, most recently served as Governor of North Carolina from 2009 to 2013 and Lieutenant Governor from 2001 to 2009.
Keith Richburg, New York Bureau Chief for The Washington Post from 2007 to 2009 and China correspondent from 2009 to 2013.
